FAQs

Do you take insurance?
We do not take or process insurance at this time.  If your insurance covers counseling services, we’re happy to send you copies of our invoices so you can get those reimbursed through your carrier.
Why is there a $50 appointment-setting fee?
The fee is to secure your time slot with the counselor, and is applied to the total counseling fee for that session when the appointment is over.  If you fail to show for the appointment, the $50 fee is non-refundable.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Not a problem!  The system will send you reminders and will provide a link to cancel or reschedule your appointment.  The $50 scheduling fee is not refundable if you cancel, but if you reschedule an appointment, the fee will transfer over to the new appointment slot.
I’m skeptical about virtual meetings for counseling. Are they effective?
According to a recent study, more than 50% of counseling sessions are conducted virtually.  The technology used for virtual meetings has improved greatly and most people are familiar with it.  Virtual meetings also mean less time in traffic for you, which saves you time and money!  If any of our virtual sessions experience any technical issue to where we can’t continue the meeting, we will refund or reschedule your appointment.
How does it work if my spouse is in a different location and we both need to be in the meeting?
No problem!  The person who signed up for the session will get the meeting link, and that link can be shared with your spouse and multiple people can join the session.
